Kingdom of Inland:

The City of Light (Inner City): This is the center most part of Inland where the royal family lives and rules. It is placed quite close to the village of Cressa, where many of the workers of the Inner City reside

Cressa: This is the small farming village where our main protagonist, Freya Lightwater, resides along with her friends Rem and Amelia

Scart: This is a bustling village near the Inner City where Rafe, now a resident of the Backlands, grew up as a child

OTHER PLACES VISITED IN THE FALLEN LIGHT SERIES:

Soldiering Camp: This is where the Pertan mortal armies train on the edges of the Dark Woods. This is where Prince Marcas spends most of his time and where Freya meets General Rafe and Marcas’ second in command, Salea.

The Dark Woods: This is the wooded area surrounding Perta, the Soldiering Camp and many travel routes through The Backlands. This is where Freya’s unfortunate encounter with Ellia and Renier takes place, along with her meeting of Bronwyn.

The Distant Seas: This is the coastline that borders Hevella. Rumor has it that the Darkness came from a remote island deep within the distant seas and spread over to The Backlands, consuming all of Hevella in the process.
Fae and mortal Kingdoms of The Backlands:

Perta: This is the only kingdom in The Backlands ruled by mortals/humans. It resides directly over the Border Wall between these lands and Inland

Brenolhym: This is the largest and most powerful Fae kingdom in The Backlands, ruled by Prince Harmon and protected by a shield of Fae power to penetrate the Darkness that covers the lands.

Elethea: This is a small, ancient Fae kingdom that is hidden from the world with wards and spells. Only a few know of its existence, including Prince Harmon and General Dagnon.

Hevella: This Fae kingdom, near the distant seas, is fully corrupted by the Darkness and is ruled by a tyrant king who has no regard for anyone but his own selfishness

Callia: This is a small, yet powerful Fae kingdom ruled by Prince Harmon’s cousin, Lord Valori. The kingdom is split in two, where one half is corrupt and one half still holds strong against the Darkness. Callia is the birthplace of a few characters in the story, such as Bronwyn, General Killian and Renier.
